OK, she's hot. She has that kewl white gown and those piercing blue eyes. Her sexy accent makes me give up critical strategic resources for a few tarnished yellow coins. I keep hoping when she asks for an open borders treaty that she might actually come by to visit but more often than not I get some sweaty Slavic settler with no shoes - he's on his way to pile drive another city with a name that has like four consonants in a row - and of course, it's right where my oil ended up being.
I hate her but I can't stop thinking about her. Last month, she denounced me and I spent an entire millennium trying to get her to forgive me. I showered her with everything and she still wouldn't even glance at me! Just did that "humph" thing she does and dismissed me from her regal, royal hotness.
So I started again - restarting several times until I was sure she was my neighbor. I'm giving her everything. Enticing - no begging, her to come with me to open up a can of whoop-ass on that old fart Bismarck (you know, just for a few laughs).
She won't take the bait.
Then this breezy punk Alexander, with his clean uniform, wavy hair, and gay white horse rides on over and BAM! they're hammering old Bismarck down like he was a narc at a biker rally!
To hell with that!
Next game, I crushed the world on Settler and offered her EVERY city I could find. I gave her Aztec cities with names that made her cities sound like remedial reading or 'fun with phonics!'
Finally she says "I must accept."
It's like I'm the last guy on the planet left standing and then she accepts me. Well, not me exactly - just all the stuff i'm giving her. Even then, she made it clear I was still annoying her.
What's it gonna take to get her to like me?!!
If anyone knows her phone number or what she looks for in a despotic ruler I'd be grateful for the feedback.
