Caveman 2 Cosmos

I try to download new v31. I get this message: "The file you have selected (Caveman2Cosmos.7z) is not available via any mirrors. Please check back shortly as our servers update every 5 minutes".
This message i got with v30 too.
What the problem with download? Is there any file?
Can you make a torrent?
 
I'm not too familiar with setting up a torrent though we usually get someone who comes along and sets one up for y'all. I'd imagine the mirrors are unavailable due to all being in use. One of those problems we don't mind having if you know what I mean ;).

I'm getting the same thing... downloaded several times. Made sure there was enough room for extraction. Always starts at same place. Buddy here tried it on his computer as well and he got the same thing...

Corruption starts at 96%. Unpacked using WinRAR.
As a note, the number of corrupted files varied from 1207-2308+.

I'm uploading the text of the corrupt files.

P.S. - Hoping OoS is going to be fixed... :D

I get the same error around 96% when winrar/winzip starts extracting in units I also get corruption.
 
V31 and 7zip 9.20
2307 errors when extracting. Download didn't stop prematurely and filesize seems to be the same as said by Gamefront.
 
I will confirm this as well. I downloaded at two very different times, got the same issue. WinRAR diagnostic lists 2308 errors in the RAR file. They all seem to occur around the time its extracting unit files for custom civs.

Here's a screenshot of part of the error messages - maybe this will help other users determine if they're getting the exact same type of errors, and if so, maybe help figure out what broke in upload of v31.

No problem, thank you for your time to fix it, its a great mod. We are just addicted to C2C :) atleast I am :P
 
Even thru the SVN, exporting Version 5762 the Official v31 is taking sometime as well. Of course 2.6+GB is a lot for a wireless IP that has a max capacity of 2.5MB for D/Ls. :p

UPloading is 2-3 times longer :whew:
 
Okay, so I have civilization 4 complete edition, so Beyond the sword is a sub folder of civ4. For some reason, whenever i try and use the shortcut it either doesnt work (cant find beyond the sword exe) or when i direct it to the exe and to the proper folder, when I click on it I get redirected to my main C folder as opposed to launching the game. i have no idea what to do, and cant find anything on google. What the hell am i doing wrong?

Have you patched BtS to 3.19?

yes I have. i am now also getting ini errors for no apparent reason. also, I have never gotten the C2C splash screen, only the normal Beyond the sword screen with the music.

Did you manually patch or just update the patch ??
