I cant seem to make an acount. So it gave me an email and tells me to follow a url when i get there on the page it says APPLICATION ERROR #200

Might I suggest adding a category for reporting issues/requesting enhancements to the tracker system itself (e.g. - requesting a new category).
I have hit what seems to be a bug with the system, which I would have repored in the system excpet I don't think there is an appropriate category:
I created a new filter and called it 'Default' (it's set to show stuff assigned to me from any category). In the 'My view' the filter dropdown now has three options: '[Reset filter]', <blank>, 'Default'. However, when I try to select 'Default' in the dropdown it selects then immediately refreshes the page back at '[Reset filter]' before I have time to hit the 'use filter' button. I'm using IE9 on Win7

I uploaded a Quick Reference Guide and fixed your permissions. Try now.
Also feel free along with anyone with a "Manager" Status to add Categories.
Ill show you Visually just in case about Filters. In IE and Win 7.
1. Lets say I want to create a Filter about Bodybuilding and save it.
1. Type Bodybuilding in the Searchbox.
2. Hit apply Filter button.

3. It looks like it brought up an Idea that mentioned Bodybuilding. If you want to save that filter, click Save Current Filter button.

4.So After you click Save filter, this screen should come up.
5. Retype the Filter name you want.
6. Checkmark All Projects.
7.. Checkmark Make Public if you think other people can use it, If you wanna make it just for you dont check it.
8. Hit the Save Current Filter Button.

9. To use The Filter, use go to RESET FILTER and scroll down, and click on it, then click Use Filter.

10. to Delete the Filter go to Manage Filter.
Remember you can attach Tags to Ideas

Its the 'use' bit that doesn't work for me. I can scroll down to and select it in the drop down, but as soon as I do the screen briefly refreshes with it selected so I could (in principal) hit the 'Use' buton, then immediately refreshes again with [RESET FILTER] selected again in the dropdown. I never have a chance to hit 'use' because it auto-resets the dropdown state on me before I can interact with it.

I'm right on it. I have to order something for my grandfather who just had a stroke, and then I will dive in deep.
The only other thing I have promised to do today, is help Dancing Hoskuld with integrating some lists that I promised to do last week. I have some ideas for you, so I will pm you with them. Let me finish these up and the next hour or so I will be full force on this 1st thing.
