Since I don't see letsplays happening here, I decided to put this thread.
So did you found something funny (like finding AI building same wonder as you, but you are outracing at it)?
Or do you have your civ nuking others?

I'm building world wonder :D

But my friendly AI are building it too... too slowly

I know, but everyone can post their screenies/saves from their games ;)

So can someone move it to Multiplayer and LP's thread, if after all it belongs here?

EDIT: Nice :)

I just reached Ancient Era.
Here is my Empire. Almost half of continent is claimed.

I'm building forts to takeover these stray bonuses.

I'll show off this one (and point Koshling to it if he wants a performance analysis testing save). This was my last huge game of C2C (it hasn't been played since April or so but still loads OK), and it is huge enough that you need Viewports for it still (I found that out the hard way).

Attached is the save and a screen of the MAF (which only occured at 2.4 GB mem usage, strange).

Loaded ok for me (1.8G used). Turn time was almost exactly 100 seconds.

Did you possibly load it over another game (i.e. - reload rather than load from clean mod start)? There is a rather large memory leak on load-over-existing-load, that I am trying to track down. I have a theory and initial experiment are looking positive, but it's a bit early to be sure...

Great news (well maybe), cause i do this all the time.

It was the first game I loaded, but BtS is currently set to load the MP mod by default, so I load that and then manually load C2C via the load mod dialog.

I wasn't paying too close attention last month, but are there settings (globaldefines or BUG) that need to be set up for paging to work properly? Also, did you try recalculating modifiers for the save (that was where it crashed for me)?

Default settings should work fine, but check it's ticked in your BUG options just in case (it should default to on). I didn't try recalculating first time, but I just did - it worked ok and memory usage actually dropped by about 30M after it finished (it peaked at an increase of only about 10M)

I keep expanding.
Forts on every resource, that I couldn't reach yet.

My cities are located here:
5mXlFb0.jpg

This city with size "The Answer" (42) has ALL religions, that I discovered.
Old World doesn't have any religions discovered. Some of them are dripping to Brazil (I'm on good terms with them).

BTW this save was little too large for forums (2.69 MB), so I compressed it.

Early Middle Ages, and I've been finding that the ai is targeting my forts and destroying them with espionage actions a fair bit. It's quite annoying (but actually a good and effective tactic)

I'm in midway trough Classical era.
Didn't saw any single barbarian or spy destroying my forts. I'm playing on Noble.

EDIT:
Brazil is suffering from crime-induced instability. They bribed revolts this turn.
I think AI needs some of your magic.

Reached Medieval era :)

I have nice collection of religions.

EDIT: Also my turns take around one minute (GEM, Noble, 7 civilizations - 6 AI's). It isn't much of pain, since I spend same time doing turn.
BTW I'll add my save for analysis, its more advanced than screenies by 50 or so turns.
(its save on exiting from game)

If you have been able to get (Found) Most of the Religions then the Religion Break up effort in the tech tree has been compromised again. Religion founding techs should possibly have been left as Dead End techs and have a Higher research cost. But because some of the Modders and players complained about having Dead End techs in the tree we're back to this. Religion Founding is screwed again.

Well, religion techs are dead end (or lead to other religion tech, that is dead-end).
I play on Noble and aggressively bee-line to all religion techs.
After that I researched all techs in era, then went to next other.
AI didn't researched itself almost NONE of religious techs (i gave away them for free to improve relations with them :p).

BTW I think I hit limit with my 32-bit windows 7, so I'll need to upgrade it to 64-bit ;)

What I high lighted in Red was fixed at one time by koshling. The AI's reluctance to found and aggressively pursue religions Is a problem, even if only on Noble level.

Hmmm.... maybe weight of these techs is to small?

Here are another screenies.
Here is my capital, holy city of all religions, that were founded.

And my empire.

I also attached my save, it has over 4 MB of size!

From what I can see, Religion techs may not be broken. As raxo specifically said, he aggressively pursues the Religion techs first. This means that the AI never gets the chance to gain any of them, as the player gets there first in all cases. I'm guessing that raxo was in the lead for the entire game as well. In this specific case, the problem seems to be that raxo is playing at too low of a difficulty level. Obviously Noble is too easy for you raxo, perhaps on your next game move up the difficulty by two places. Then the AI should get a few religions, and should be a more ... interesting game as well.

He also plays on Noble level. It is very easy to get all the religions and still be one or two eras ahead of the AI on noble level. I do it all the time when I am testing wonders.

WHAT:eek:, i cant even get close to being close to the NEW AI, i am always about 10 or more BEHIND:( on Noble???
