Reports are that the vanilla 1.6 servers are still suffering from critical bugs. The Bukkit team is waiting until the next fix that is due tomorrow. Revert back to 1.5 if you wish to play on the server.

Also, I may run an experimental 1.6 server on my home machine when I get home if bukkit isn't ready yet (which it isn't).
I also want to find out which plugin is causing issues, so I may be taking the worlds offline and running a testing world for a week so I can isolate the problem!

Hey Croxis, could I have three diamonds? I was joining the server and I appeared right over the large chunk error in World 1. I have no idea why I appeared there, as I was in my house last time I logged off, but I fell, and died, and then was disconnected for flying apparently. The only thing of value in my inventory was my diamond pick, which was the only thing of value I have on the server. I'd just buy couple, but I'm poor and only have a few thousand geld. Anyhow, I can understand if you don't grant me this.

The 1.6 servers are very broken. Notch just posted he will fix them tomorrow. Until then, the server stays at 1.5

This happened to me as well while I was, um, exploiting a chunk error. Then I found my chest was up above it nearby. Try looking for the error to see if your stuff is there.

Yeah a couple of times thats killed me in the old spawn and I found my chest in there.

Its happeend to me twice in the last 3 months and I've died a lot. So no I don't think you do.

Is the chunk error at the world 1 spawn perminant?

The chunk error at world one (which I did not fall into) is indeedp ermanent. Its a bug related to large maps, very rare for multiple ones to pop up. THe same thing happened to another server a couple of days ago (but way out of the way).

I'm going to disable world 1 then next restart due to corruption then.

That was weird, I lost connection to the net for a second (not just minecraft), logged back in and I was standing at the edge of the perma chunk error. Even though I had only just entered Fanatica. EDIT: it also respawned me there when I died climbing Civtown of Doom. ALSO THERE ARE GIANT ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE including one in the Minestaff citadel.

SAME HERE! That's exactly where I was!
I noticed the GIANT ZOMBIE spam too. There's consistently 2 around at all time no matter where I am....which is annoying, if anything.
