CFC Minecraft Server -- World 4

Anyone else having the same issues as matt at the moment? I want to see if the symptoms are just him or if I need to investigate further.

could be the movecraft mod. it reportedly cause large amounts of lag, especially when big objects with torches are flying around.

and i have a clone of mine idling at the spawn point. haven't checked if he's still there, but he's around even without me, according to reports.

This happened when I got an internal server error when I died and pressed the respawn button. When I logged back on I was at spawn but still dead and had to click the respawn button again and found this handsome fellow looking back at me.

Internal server error kicked me out a bunch of time last night. No other problems worth mentioning. Yea and I saw a few ghosts idling at the spawn point.

There are reports that it is big brother causing the issue.

Also, 1.5 is scheduled for release today. It is usually about 24 hours until the server will be updated. If you wish to continue playing on the server do not update until the server has been updated to 1.5

Big Brother has responded almost instantly in the last couple of days, but before that it took several seconds. So it might be the culprit, though I have not had any lag for a few days.

1.5 is also getting performance updates, so hopefully that fixes some issues as well.

I wont be home from work for about 10 more hours after this post. This should be enough time for the bukkit team to create a new version and plugin developers to update.

Apparently running minecraft.exe specifically as administrator has largely solved the problem.

Bukkit has been updated, although the code is still a bit buggy. When I return home in about 10 hours everything should be ready to go.
