Noas a Minecraft noob and MP virgin, I did not know about all of the commands you can use within the server

Don't worry i know where it is and I can show you the way back.
You have to use /sethome on the location where it is first. Also most of the commands are in the first couple of posts of this thread.

That's what I kept telling myself .... I was almost too embarrased to admit that I can't find it, but I have swam and swam and tried every direction (well obviously not every direction
)I was kinda disoriented as well by some of the new buildings that have gone up ... they threw off my "way points" (or at least that is the excuse I am telling myself

I hate vt, watched it on youtube once to see what it was, and it was bloody awful. Kan drew it because I had some kind of green llama as my avatar and he was drawing up his Council of Doom(TM) based on everyone's avatars. Its a green llama/monster/thingy.

Its not bald, Kan just didn't draw in the detail of the fine fur/hair covering it.

I managed to login and spawn at the spawn gate. Lag is still bad, but this shouldn't be surprising seeing that I'm from Australia and I'm joining an American minecraft server.
I'm trying to find a suitable java link in order to download the 64 bit Java, but I guess I don't know which one to choose.
By the way, the world looks pretty nice, or at least from the spawn point.

Looks like trying to catch you online might be difficult .... how about we see if this might work:
Here is a VERY rough map ... can you give me the general direction to go based on this?
Two landmarks I see are on the walkway you traverse when spawn at the original spawn location:
At one end is a big wooden boat, at the other end is a floating yellow submarine
So when I spawn, I am not sure which end of the walkway to go to, and then whether to go left or right from the walkway based on which end I go to...
Not sure if this makes sense ... but I really want to get to my house !

Go straight past the yellow submarine and you'll see Subi's sandston e tower and my seawall walkway (under construction) that goes around Mount Gnome, follow the seawall to your right past Croxis' giant pit of doom (soon to be massive capital building) until you get to a glass tower (my elevator shaft). Keep going straight past that until you get to a bunch of random wood platforms (unfinished) in the trees on an island. Keep going and your house is straight ahead/on the left in the corner somewhere.

lets think about this logicly. If I knew of the solution, I would of done it. I'll work on it when I have a chance to sit down and be able to baby sit the server. The problem is this is random, so I can't test for it.

No proble, just remember to type /sethome when you are standing there and you can teleport back to it anytime by typing /home (well, every 30 seconds and you have to stand still for 10 seconds).
