Sendos, also make sure that if you are running a 64 bit os you have 64bit version of java (my brother had that issue). You might also want to try java 7 which some report work very well.

@HammurabiII: For the corners of your tunnel I think you may need a block of space between the tracks and the wall if you're still having problems with them.

Croxis sorry about the wall damage. I lost connection but I had a stack of stone in hand and was ready to repair it. Did you ban me or did I just lose connection?

Done that. It was working fine until the 1.3 update. I also un-firewalled it and that helped prevent the world holes, but it hadn't stopped the lag.

I guess multiplayer minecraft is the biggest craze these days. My only significant world consisted of a house made out of wood with 4 levels:
Groundfloor - 1 storeroom, 1 kitchen (5 furnaces), 1 living room, 1 library room, 1 swimming pool (with an entrance to a nearby cave system).
First floor - bedroom
Second floor - portal
Third floor - My conservatorium consisting of some trees, sugar canes and a water fall, but the ground is all dirt, but no grass, so that experiment failed.

By the way, anyone here watch the Yogscast on youtube? I strongly recommend you guys to watch their vids. They are all hilarious!

Bukkit does actually. However requiring client modifications is not a good thing for the health of a community. I'm trying to have more people logged in at once, not less

I have a sneaking suspicion that someone has deposited some money on my account. I don't recall having that much.

Also, are the instant sign based elevators completely offline, It appears no one has permission to create them. Are the moving elevators the only way to go?
