Okay so its not real life but still an interesting result:
(I am not managing either club...)

Managing Man U, I once beat Bayern 9-0 in a pre-season friendly. I've never had a striker get 7 in one match though!

Somewhere Suppersalmon posted a really high scoring victory for Charlton but I can't remember the exact score...

That screenshot is just wrong :p

Its a screenshot of a CL game so it kind of fits, plus its the off week between CL games in real life. Finally we could start a new CM thread but I'm not sure how much demand there would be.

also recently i beat wolves 7-6

Yeah that was the game, Suppersalmon. Just a shame my teams rarely score more than two goals and have a tendency to throw away leads...

*Time to ask Col nicely if he wants to split this into a CM thread :)*

Seems to be one of those tactics that is a little too good and which would be pointless to use all the time.

I've heard of that Diablo tactic, and I avoid it like the plague. Seems like the perfect way to ruin a perfect game.

Supersalmon can be the results of 2 things.

1. You have a damn good team, and you are a damn good manager.

2. You are using the diablo tactic.

Im sorry but i find 2 to be most likely :)

im useing the Uber 2 formation which is good but also a mixture of my own tactics based around it :p

No dodgy tactics for me, thanks. I get on just fine without them; my Cardiff team has just beaten PSV 2 - 0 to maintain our 100% record in the Champions League, and I remain unbeaten in my attempt to retain the Premiership (season 2006/07).

:D

Decided to see whether the diablo tactic works, and it does... Yeovil actually started winning games and Cordoba have dominated matches far more. So Yeovil will now avoid relegation and Cordoba may just get promoted.

My other two teams still use my tactics and Norwich went on a winning run last night to move up to second in the first division, 1 point ahead of Sunderland whilst Beauvais are second in the National division, 8 points ahead of 4th.

Sounds like this game is broken. If one particular tactic always wins, whats the point in playing any more?

Perhaps but its not a tactic that many people would create on their won and it doesn't always win. I guess it depends whether you consider it an accidental cheat like other games may have offical cheats or whether it is a problem with the game.
