Last I knew, the Pentagon was not in Texas. But maybe they moved it.
marie would cause the same problems as joan, she was never the leader of the nation, just married to him. That is like saying that Jackie Onassis Kennedy should be the leader of the US because the people loved her.

What, that is ludicrous! First of all, I believed you, I just wanted you to confirm it and was wondering if you were joking or not. Secondly, I WAS going to congratulate you for you achievement and wish to thank you for leading the fight to preserve our freedoms and liberty.
However, I would come to expect a "army general at the pentagon" to use proper spelling, punctuation, grammar, and capitalization. Has our military gone that down hill that a 16 year old must correct that sentence so that it more clearly reads:
"Benderino, you are just jealous because I am an army general at the Pentagon."

I think the best way to resolve the leader head issue is to give us options for choosing a leader and not just be stuck with one.
nope, the leader heads are supposed to represent either a nation when it was at its pinnacle, or a leader whom the majority of that country/civ can agree was among its best/relate, the best example of the latter reason is Lincoln, as better choices for a pinnicle US would be F.D.R, or Teddy Roosevelt (just 'cause it would be fun as hell to play as him not to mention he became presedent when the American frontir was officially closed, thus compleating the contental expansion of the U.S across a contenent, no lean feat)

Bismarck is far better than Hitler in terms of accomplishments (you might not of heard of him as much, but that doesn't mean he wasn't more important to the GOOD of his people). Bismarck successfully unifed most of what is modern-day Germany under a stong Prussian leadership, and successfully defeated France and acquired more territory.
Hitler lost in a war and was listed as the worst man in history. Where's the argument there?
I agree entirely with what you say about Bismark. My point is i am a huge fan of modern european history and like the WW2 scenarios and it annoys me having bismark and catherine as the leaderheads. My argument about the success of Stalin doesn't apply with Hitler- he was a failure. Don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to choose the leaders? U interested in German history then? I've read nine books on Hitler and Nazi Germany!- very sad but i find them very interesting

No, I certainly agree. I love German history. I've read many books on Hitler and the Third Reich and the Wehrmacht. I also find it interesting, expecially about WW2 and the Holocaust (I lost 13 relatives to the concentration camps). I see your point about the WW2 scenario. That would be the only time that I would allow such an act. If they made one, it should have the correct leaderheads, as you mentioned. Otherwise, you're just going to have to make your own. In the regular game, I cannot sanction Hitler over Bismarck, or Stalin over Catherine (though I could see Ivan instead of her, but she is ok). My primary concern in taking out Joan!
