Chaos SG

Done - see above.

The player who is currently UP (that is to say, should have downloaded the latest save and play 1 turn, and 1 turn only) is Tyrant (aka Minion joe).

The following players are not UP (that is to say, they shouldn't download the latest save and play 1 turn - well, they can if they like but they shouldn't tell anyone about it - very bad form, don't you know):

SG Breaker (aka munterpipe)
Pushover (aka Ruff)
Cleaner (aka chriseay)
MicroManager (aka Strauss)
Religious Fanatic (aka Zalson)
Automaton (aka jeejeep)
Warmonger (aka ChrTh)

The player is is ON DECK (that is to say, UP but one) is unknown as we should all be waiting for instructions.

Not to interject into this "discussion" regarding who is up next ... oh wait ... I guess I am interjecting ... But, didn't MinionJoe post that he was dropping out of the game?

EDIT: A quick search reveals that he did indeed. It looks like you are both wrong. One more chance to get it right, me thinks. Who IS up next?

It's the pushover who is up:eek:

I'm guessing we might get peace and be left with one city after his turn.

After the :hammer: I put down on Qin last turn, he won't accept nothin' for peace. He's too afraid it'll get around to me again.

Cathy, well, Cathy just likes playing the Warmonger too :groucho:

EDIT: I just hope no one asks the pushover to declare war on someone ... :cringe:

Damn, I might be getting the losing turn!:(

BTW, ChrTh, are you still going to do the SG Hall of Fame? I noticed it when I was looking through the SG forum.

Nah, interest wasn't high enough. It's probably too subjective.

Oooo, so it is little ol' me who is actually UP. Any instructions?

You should actually be able to survive your turn. I took out enough of the attacking troops to keep Chaos alive at least for another year. That said, the rifles are wounded, I would promote everyone you can (to heal) and fortify.

EDIT: Secondary instructions: finish your turnset for CTIV-5 ;)

Ok, got it. Re CTIV-5 - turn set finished but currently working in the garden. Writting report in my head - tease ... took 3 Japanese cities! Nappy took some too.

You have a computer in the garden?!? ... I need to set that up too!

mmm...Japanese cities conquered...

Er... I really don't know what to make of this game. I almost just redeemed my pp to ensure that we keep this thread on topic... but, well, it is chaotic :crazyeye:

I cannot believe my eyes! Wasn't it you who wrote:

What's with the pessimism guys? The enemy hordes are nothing more than a paper tiger! They will crumble before the mighty forces of Chaos!

Can you say... we're dead?
Of course not you fool, can't you see the battleship? We'll crush the Russians!

The Battleship gets outfitted with wheels and you all of sudden are pessimistic?

When the Wheeled Battleship (how do I get the tm sign?) is weaker than a Scout, it doesn't quite boost my morale.

Also, I ordered SEVEN Modern Armors.:king:

Hi All - the pushover is happy to report that we still have two cities - neither of our opponents would even think of peace. We also have all of our units (yes, all, including the battleship with wheels). Peter wanted to trade Divine Right for Chemistry +140gps - I said yes, naturally - all he had to do was ask. I shaved 744 turns off our research with that trade. I also gave Liberalism to Khan for 100gps.

We do have an escape route … both Kathy and Qin have closed borders with Lizzie. We have OBs with Lizzie. We could run away?

Here is the state of our nation, pre-hit enter …

I found that the battleship with wheels had been left with the ability to move by the Engineer. I moved it to Chaos but then decided to send it on to our other great city to heal. It would probably have been selected as the 'defensive' unit in the battle of Chaos.

Here are our two cities …

And here is some battle action (first the cat, then the two cannons) …

And, most importantly, the log …
----------------------------New entries----------------------------
Turn 343 (1933 AD)
Ruff_Hi: I have movement points on the wheeled battleship
Ruff_Hi: Both Kathy and Qin have closed borders with Lizzie.
Ruff_Hi: We have OBs with Lizzie

IBT:
While defending, Rifleman defeats (14.00/14): Chinese Catapult
While defending, Rifleman defeats (12.18/14): Chinese Cannon

Turn 344 (1934 AD)
Tech learned: Chemistry
Research begun: Steel
Rifleman promoted: City Garrison I
Rifleman promoted: Medic I

The other cannon withdrew. You can change the tech selection - I haven't invested any beakers. We also have some $ to upgrade our fighting units.

The tide is turning! The Russian and Chinese hordes will face their defeat at the gates of Chaos! Forward to victory!
