Not sure when people will be ready to start the new cook book!! I am thinking start on the Monday after the new year. Others seem a bit more eager. We do have a map so its more a question of when. 
Perhaps upload for new Years day with a long first round of 7 days to allow people to play!

That's a good idea. This'll give me time to play with my Christmas presents and apply for jobs w/o heavy distractions XD
Finally got to play Gumbolts save yesterday. Though I'd let you know the result was a 1580 Domination victory. Interesting note for you all was that I only built one siege unit all game and that one didn't reach the enemy city in time to join in. Should have done it faster but the game was already won by the time I got my hands on it really so I just let my cities blunder on while I pumped troops. Haven't got any images on me but hopefully I'll add some later (on a public computer and can't connect devices). Made a big mistake in leaving SB until last as he teched pretty well and could afford to upgrade more than I'd expected. Fortunately the Americans had capitulated easily and so had plenty of troops for SB to suicide units on. Think my end score was around 220,000. My best score so far

So, if I want to play along next game but I normally use Buffy then I need to play w/o the mod, right? No, I don't have it installed in custom assets. I just installed it in the default manner.
If you have BTS installed the game should work. We dont use any mods. I think bug 4.2 should work. Once the new cookbook is uploaded see if it works is all i can suggest. I dont personally see any issue.
May wait a day or so before i paste the game. The next game wont be played out so fast. I am hoping Kossin hasnt made it so obviously easy for us.
The objective of voting is not always to select the strongest save. In fact perhaps more people should be removing their votes from the saves if its over powerful.
Having played out a few monarch games this week its quite scary how big a jump it is from Monarch to Emp. City upkeep and Ai teching rate and other things.

Before I played this series I was a struggling prince player. Now I regularly crush prince and am thinking move moving up to Monarch if I crush one more game on prince. Being able to play others saves and see what is possible has helped my game tremendously.
If you can survive on the cookbook you should be sitting pretty on Monarch.
Ahem Kossin, i think we are all allowed a few days christmas break. Talk about playaholic.

I play EC and other non-modded forum games with BUG 4.2 installed in custom assets. I also use BUFFY a lot too. To avoid conflict with the current version of BUFFY, I create to custom asset folders and switch between them. I take the default (clean) CA folder and rename it - I do have Blue Marble installed in the default. I then installed BUG 4.2 to custom assets. I simply switch folders when I need to use BUFFY for GOTMs. "ruff_hi" created an awesome little tool that allows you to switch CA folders in a snap. Here's a link if you wish:
