Checking ISO file integrity without an MD5 hash?

I download a lot of ISO files, and sometimes they don't have the hashes to check integrity. I try with 7-zip, but it tells me ISO files aren't supported. Anybody know a way?

Burning it to a disk and trying it. Without any sort of reference to what it should come up as (such as the hash) no test can see if it's the same without trying.

Mount it on a virtual cd ( PowerISO unregistered can do it ).

Why is file integrity an issue?

With torrents, integrity checks aren't needed, by design.

If you're downloading isos from legit websites or ftp sites, they should be listing the hash.

And how often is file integrity a problem anyway? This isn't 1995, I haven't had a corrupted download in years.

Well, sometimes I convert ZIP files to ISO's, to make it easier to burn. But sometimes it corrupts.

Old games, mainly.
