Ehh, I got a pm saying I'm the black queen, AND I'm part of the mafia. I'm really confused. :/

Each team will have the following distribution of pieces:

3 players will be pawns
1 player will be a rook
1 player will be a knight
1 player will be a bishop
1 player will be a queen
1 player will be a king

I will tell which specific piece you are in algebraic notation in your Team PM. If your piece is captured, and there is a piece that is uncontrolled that is the same role as your starting piece, then you will take over that piece. Make sense?

Question: We can move any of the pieces like in regular chess, not just the ones we control, right? IE if white wanted to open with 1.g4 we could do that even if we don't have a player designated as the pawn on g2.

Edit: also there is a discrepancy between the starting squares for some pieces vs regular chess. I sent a PM about it.
