Children Per Family

here is what I have been able to find out on the children per family:

city size-foodeaten-foodsurplus-children it makes
1-2-4-10.0
2-4-5-8.6
3-6-5-7.0
2-2-1-0.7
1-2-2-6.0
2-4-4-7.3
3-6-6-8.0
3-3-(-3)-(-1.0) size three with 3 food = -1.0 children
4-8-8-8.4
5-10-10-8.6
6-12-12-8.8
7-14-14-9.0
17-34-22-6.8
X=anything
X-2X-0-2.0
^^thats not it BTW

so, whats the formula here? anyone have any ideas?
it MUST have a +2 at the end...
so without the +2 it would be
2-4-5-6.6
2-2-1-(-1.3)
2-4-4-5.3
5-10-10-6.6
and others
...
hummm use a graphing calculator??

1. You do have a lot of time on your hands (as I commented earlier)

2. I don't see any formula.

3. Thunderfall, move this topic to Civ2 - General Discussions. It's about Civ, so then it should go there. It may even get more attention there, as a matter of fact.

4. I remember once seeing a place where Demographics was calculated, but I can't remember where. Anyone help?

as far as I know, it was an unknowen. I am guessing it has something to do with a graphing calculator

I just quoted his sig, Stormerne (if you didn't read it). I bet he just did it, well, to do something stupid. I wonder if there is any interesting in it, but if there's a formula, you can brag about the time when you had 700 children in a family (supplied with screenshot). That would have been fun.

And yeah, I read the thread of 456.5 children per family.

well, let me ask you this

if you were reading a book with 5 characters. Bill Bob Bart Ben and Bud
and you read, at the end of the story
Bill went on to become...
Bob..
Bart..
Ben...
but said nothing about Bud, you would wonder "what the H-E-doublehockysticks happened to Bud?"

there was a screen about where the demographic stats come from, but it said nothing about children per family, so I decided to see if I could come up with it
