Possibly one of the most extensive diaries, i suppose...
That said, the notes for the last 2,5 years weren't that many, a mere 80K words ( ). But yeah, 16K pages is something that even i have abandoned trying to re-read
While terms may echo Kafka, the actual approach in the stories is not something Kafka would do. Namely i tend to present both allegory and examination of allegory, while Kafka pretty much creates a huge ongoing allegory and doesn't present you with any particular key to unlock it.

So if you were to write your autobiography, would it be longer or shorter than Isaac Asimov's? He needed three large volumes, and still didn't get everything said that he could have.

Well, the diary form is a bit different, given -despite mostly including comments/examination of older things- it also includes some day-to-day notes. But yes, the older diaries (up to 3-4 years ago) were basically a huge ongoing series of notes on how i think, and some info on early life.
That said, 16K pages don't really fit into 3 volumes. More like 8 volumes. Currently they fill almost an entire traveling baggage ^^
Afaik, Fernando Pessoa left "30 thousand pages" inside a chest in his apartment (not a diary, though), and iirc Lovecraft's epistles needed 8 volumes to print (but that includes replies by others to him).
And here I was going to congratulate you on not considering prepping something like that for publication.
Don't. There is no way 16k pages of a diary could hold anyone's attention. Especially if it won't hold your own.
Now if we go back to the chance that you become one of the literary greats after you pass, then this should be one of those later found jewels that might be actually appreciated.

Hey, i am not - that - delusional I keep the diary for the prospect it might be posthumously printed, in case i do get famous at some very later time. It would be utterly absurd to even try publishing it now.
