Are the Citadels working?

I ask because I recently played a game with Malakim where I went for a Tower victory. I loaded up every border city with walls, palisades, defensive stacks and, of course, citadels to weaken the invading hordes.

Once I started the Tower of Mastery, I had my hands full fighting a mass war. It occurred to me the next day that I didn't actually see any effects from the Citadels. I'm sure there were no visuals. I can't recall any tiles with fire (I'm a fan of lumbermills so there were plenty of forested tiles along the borders).

I was busy fighting a multi-front war so I didn't think to check the stacks for damage based on where they were compared to the cities. The damage may have been silently applied, but I had enough doubt that I wanted to ask.

Working fine for me in 0.34. But the damage is sad, I think Im going to up their damage a bit.

I'm thinking that in my version these will probably soon become a unique fort (or Citadel) with a <PythonOnMove> function. I'm thinking Chancels will probably become a similar improvement that sanctify and heal.

Okay, thanks.

Do they have visuals when they activate, or do the units just get damaged?

Yeah there is a visual effect (big pillar of fire hits them).

It would be nice if all of the buildings which can cast spells (Citadel of Light, Hall of Mirrors... not sure if there are more....) would make a text announcement so you see some notification at the start of the next turn.

I see you refering to "my version" in every other post you write. How bout releasing a version of it for 0.34 for a change? :p
