One of my border cities has flipped to the Independants.
Now this in itself is OK (but annoying as it had 20 happy to 5 unhappy faces) as my empire is unstable anyway. (Economics is only 1 star - despite GPT of 65.)
But I did not notice this straight away, only about 3 turns later as there was no popup informing me of the event.
I looked at the event log and nothing was written to that either.
I think this sort of event should be logged and a popup or left screen display should alert the player.
