Despite years of Civving, I have never mastered the City production queue, and often accidently remove a 'build' when trying to move it up or down the queue!

Can some kind soul pls inform me of the best ways to manipulate the queue (moving builds to top, multiple builds etc....).

Cheers:)

I dont know the buttons for moving stuff up down in the que...

I know there is ALT+Click - build a item repeatedly (will be marked by a small * in the queue)

SHIFT + Click / CTRL+ Click to append/prepend stuff.

However accidentaly deleting someting from the queue is not a big deal - if you delete something from queue you don't loose the hammers... just push it back in when you need it.

Basicly to move something down the que, you delete the item from the top, then use Shift-Click to append it in the end...

I spend 75% of my playtime fuxing with queue orders and trying to select multiple cities at the same time to set a mutual rally point.

nice one, i'll give it a go... :goodjob:

Yeh, i also just delete things from the que and use SHIFT click to put them on the bottom, or just click to put them at the top.

But i'm a big advocate of not using que's unless its a small city late game and u just put on a bunch of buildings or what ever...

Alot can change in 3-10 turns (time required on average to build a building) so i do 1 building MAX 2 at a time
