G'day.
When you buy a unit, it shows up in a little display in the city screen.
It won,t show more then eight units though.
How can you tell how many units a city is supporting please?

:)

Check the shields going to support, then add the number of units your government type can support without cost. There is, however, no way that I know of to see all the units in the city screen like can be done for the first 8. This also will not tell you how many diplomats and caravans you are supporting.

Thanks for that.

Some times I build engineers for short term build projects, and you lose track of how much they are eating.

Any ides mate?

:)

That's easy. Each citizen eats two food per turn, so look at how much food is being consumed, and if it is more than twice the number of citizens of the city, you can determine how many settlera/engineers the city is supporting. In despotism and monarchy, settlers eat 1 food, so each additional food consumed belongs to a settler. In the other governments, divide the additional food consumption by 2, and that will give the number of engineers supported.

Thanks for your post mate.

Yes; I thought there might be another way instead of counting.

 Like Nermals and Garfields conversation you have under your posts.
