Civ 5 Design Challenge IV - History/Eras

Niao, I don't think that those components really fit Cixi... I mean, both the opium house and the boxer?

Last day for designs

Submission Time has come to a hault.
Instead of doing the previous method of voting, leave your vote here and why you voted for your chosen civilization design.

Voting for Uighur's Greece.

I love revolution civs, and I love making tourism worth anything. The mechanic seems like it would not really work too well, but I'm imagining just spending like 10 turns in the ancient area producing a great writer, using that and the one from D&P to grab a theming bonus somewhere, and then getting exotic or familiar on the other civs, then getting to just sort of turtle up for a while. It's a brilliant mechanic that would take some work to milk to its best potential but it could be used well. And I like the representation of Philhellenism all around, I just really like the design

I'll vote for GPuzzizzazzle as well - I'm a big fan of how the UA and UB reflect on the Industrialisation of Britain and that the Greenjacket has fitting bonuses to reflect the Napoleonic wars and the Peninsular Campaign. In short the design covers what I view as the two most interesting aspects of old Farmer George's reign.

Really happy that this design is actually being coded as well.

I'll vote for Scapegrace's design. I think it's personally the overall most balanced between doable, fun, original, and flavorful. It has this solid representation of what Belgium was to the European political scene until the Leopold II scandals started rolling around.

Well, defiantly a lot of good designs here... I vote for Uighur, since I like the culture\ tourism focus of his design, which also allows the player to focus on scientific development as means of getting more culture.

Gpuzzle for me, very nice design

Uighur - 3
GPuzzle - 3
Niao - 1
Scapegrace - 1

There's a tie! We need to break it somehow.

Whoever voted scapegrace and niao must change their vote to one of the tied designs.

(Its only fair, IMO)

Given that Gpuzzle is the person who voted for Scape (and thus cannot vote for himself in the tiebreaker) isn't this just a default win for Uighur? I mean I guess it could tie again but...

Edit; No idea how I made that mistake, kek

Yup, if I change my vote Uighur_Caesar wins.

Uighur_Caesar has won the Industrial Era Challenge!

Therefore gaining the choice to choose the next historical time point or Era to have the challenge be based around.

Once he has announced the challenge details the dates shall be set and we shalt begin once more!

Wait, hold on, WHAT?

Yeah, I said that if I change my vote, Uighur_Caesar wins, not that I was changing my vote, so Uighur_Caesar wins. I'm not changing my vote yet.
