I've almost finished a complete Civ Customiser. :)

You can customise:
- Leader
- Traits
- Start Techs
- UU's
- UB's

The customising is via simple point and click menus while the game is starting up, such as:

Is there anything else that you would like customised?

See DoM screen below. :)

Yes, it picks up whatever is in the xml files and presents it to you.

(Just noticed this one while checking out your latest upload: ) Could come real handy! Lemme see if I get this right: I can use this for scenario editing?

I heard this mentioned in Apolyton's Modcast. Really sounds interesting. They talk about the replayability of Civ4 with its multiple leaders, but this takes it to a whole new level. Because this was posted just over 7 months ago, I assume it's just about complete. Is it fully available, and if so, could you provide a link?

You can either:

1. Check out my full combat mod (which includes this mod and MANY other fantastic mods). The link is in my sig. :)
2. Search for Civ Customiser in the Mod Components forum.
3. Search for Civ Customiser in the downloads area.

:)

Found those already - but can I use the Customizer (to edit) without having to include the mod in a scenario?

@John_Deere: It's on the 1st page of Civ4 Creation & customization, so not that hard to find.

If you DL the component by itself, it plugs into the standard game (or technically it's a mod that doesn't change the standard game except for the setup windows).

So, to be completely sure, would I need to add (or include) the mod comp to the scenario when uploading the end result?

(The alternative, as I see it, being to upload with a reference to the mod comp as a prerequisite to playing the scenario. Just correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't want to upload an unplayable scenario and I have no experience modding so far.)

Of course. It's bundled in with your Combat Mod - how silly of me to forget! That would explain why. Thanks for the help. From what Dale said, I think you would need to include the mod comp to the scenario, so that it knows what files to use, rather than the standard game.

That's all very well, but if it's finished, a link would be helpful. The directions Dale posted is how I found this thread in the 1st place. And I'm not including an entire mod - no matter how great it is - just to complete a scenario. (I don't mind making a scenario specially for Dale's Combat mod, but I'm already rather busy at the moment.):mischief: :) ;)
