Why does Civ edit not save my scenarios properly? I have to constantly resave scenarios just to get changes saved it's ridiculous

THIS IS NOT THE SAME TOPIC, READ IT MODS AND YOU'LL SEE IT'S DIFFERENT:rolleyes:

Civ3Edit for Mac is buggy, and you are very unlikely to see any improvements, as MacSoft who published it are not in the Civ business any more and no longer support the product range.

I recommend that you make your thread titles a little more specific. If you are planning to open several threads, all called "Civ Edit Question", then we'll have some difficulty working out which ones to deal with. A single thread for your Civ3Edit issues would be an alternative.

Note: I've moved your previous separate post to be with the one you raised in "Help with Civ3 Editor", since they both relate to unit editing/adding problems.

thanks. It's just remarkably frustrating. Does Civ3 Complete come with a non-buggy editor? What about the "bundled" editor with 1.29b2?

There is no bundled editor with any version of CIv3 for Mac, as far as I am aware. The only one around is the one that's compatible with 1.21g. The other option is to buy Civ3 Complete for Windows for a few bucks and run a PC editor on a PC, or in VirtualPC, or in BootCamp or Parallels on an Intel Mac. That would allow you to run any of the vanilla 1.29f, PtW 1.27f or C3C 1.22 editors

Is the PC editor downloadable, or does one need to purchase C3C for PC to get it?
