Civ IV: Beyond the Sword Info Center

Is these two of the new buildings ?

A looks like the Mausoleum wonder, and B looks like one of the modern/future cityset buildings. :p

A bigger picture or a link to the pic would help to see better of course.

Just checked, and the 'B' building is indeed from the modern cityset... 2x2_02 model to be exact.

Is Charlemagne one of the new leaders or is there just the Charlemagne scenario?

Currently it looks like just the scenario.

Sure, go here.

Mmm, I'm having second doubts on the "A" structure now... it looks like the Mausoleum but the statue on top is way bigger then the Halicarnassus model that shipped with Warlords.

In any case, on this screenshot from the Executive unit 3 new buildings can be seen. (the one partly in the watermill included)

Yep. And I think the closest one is just a graphically overlapped building (by the watermill). In the picture where I took this screenshot from there's another watermill without a new building in front.
Btw, these graphics have been used for watermills from Civ4 vanilla onwards in all era's. It's about time some artist remodels stuff like that and the fishing boats in later era's. ;)

Awwwwww, I wanted Charlemagne. :(

Awesome that all this info has finally been thrown in one spot! :goodjob:

Now, if only they'd release some more info.. I mean, two months is a long time to wait...

Better than 4 months. Even more for mac.

The background of William's leader portraits is inspired by the paintings of Johannes Vermeer (at least it seems a whole damn lot like it :D). Just check out this Google Image Search. A lot of his works have a window at the left of the frame with light falling through and some painting or map on the background wall.

Hey, I just noticed this in the Amazon.com product description:
10 new civilizations
12 new scenarios
78 new units and 64 new buildings
16 new leaders
5 new technologies

I'm guessing the new units and buildings are mostly scenario-driven. This is the first time, however, I've seen mention of 5 new technologies. How reliable can we consider this?

Hello. I'm new to this forum.

What is this "MAF bug" some are speaking of? Why wouldn't the company want to fix it?
