That review was better than I expected it to be. So, many wonderful things to say abou the game

Putting the score into perspective...
It's only .3 points off the highest score IGN have given a PC game.
It's the 4th highest rated strategy game behind Alpha Centauri, Homeworld, and Starcraft. The 2nd highest TBS game behind Alpha Centauri.
It's the 2nd highest score given out this year. Second to Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory's 9.6
Not bad.
It's only .3 points off the highest score IGN have given a PC game.

Not a big deal... but I think 9.4/10 is a little low considering the text of the review... I think it deserves at least the 9.6/10 IGN gave to alpha centauri... the graphics/sound weren't that great there either....

Well good. But I understand how annoing it could get, if the completion of a wonder by opponent is not on the big pop-up.
Good review. It covered most of the facts that I've read in previews up to this point. He colors it lightly with some personal preference. The one thing that stood out (glared is more accurate) was the spearmen vs. tank issue... Everything I've read up to this point indicated that the issue was toned down greatly but he states.... "I have to admit that the game still suffers from the spearman-defeats-tank combats.". Overall, great score

Ever since they gave Master of Orion 3 a 9.0/10 (If memory serves) I can't put too much faith in them. (Or gamespy, which gave age of empires 3 a perfect score)
However I heard rumors of European Game mags giving CIV 9s and 10s so I don't think this could be too far off. I'm waiting for Gamespot to wiegh in. I've almost never seen them falter. And of corse Gamerankings later for the average score.
By the way the new CIV trailer rocks.

they say i have atention deficit disorder and that civ 4 helped me stay in focused more but i still have some trases of it so could i have a summary of it?

yes, thanks for the link tho at this point I have read all the reviews I can stomach and just want to play the game. My review of it is the one that matters most to me.
