Civ IV runs fine... BTS doesn't after patch

Everything was working great until I decided to patch tonight to 3.13.

The initial game menu comes up but it looks like when the screen tries to change resolutions it crashes with a windows error right away. I've tried all the resolutions and graphics options.

Tried reinstalling the patch. Also for some reason, I don't have anything in my "Audio" or "Other" tabs. Could the two be related??

Civ IV runs fine on its own. No issues at all.

Any suggestions???

could you post a screenshot of the error message? if it asks you to send something to MS please click on show report and post the upper part of that report

the file version (3.0.0.91) shows that the patch did not install correctly. You'll probably need to do a complete reinstall but please do so only after I posted instructions on how to do this
You could try reapplying the patch first though maybe that helps.
