Why is one of your neighbours having the pyramid bad? Unless its impossible to attack an AI on Deity?
Ohh, you can attack, but you'd need a UU yourself just to have a hope of being Successful!
AI's with terrible/conflicting rates such as Industrious/Aggressive (Stalin) can in fact be some of your worst monsters at the top.
Let's assume Stalin is close, very very close. If he decides to gear up for war, you are dead plain and simple. If, he decides to go wonder spamming (he will with resources), you STILL can't pull off a successful attack. He will have the pyramids, etc completed in no-time in his capital, while his other city (they get extra on deity) will auto-create war units. You are out-produced and out-gunned.
The AI there gets 5 extra techs, and can make bowmen right away. He gets double cheap barracks, and will have souped up bowmen, to stop any invasion by you. In fact, it only costs him 15 hammers per bowman! And even his axemen come with free trait promotions.
Good luck.
And we haven't even included the problem of deity culture getting so rediculously out of control. After a few wonders, his capital culture will sourround your capital and you will have hardly any tiles to work on. In the BC era still.
