civ only crashes if AI plays it

hey,

I have downloaded someone elses mod (Bulgarian Empire by zulsum). If I play as Bulgaria, it all works fine, but if I play against Bulgaria, then the game crashes every time, while loading a new game.

I can't figure out why, any ideas ?

Most likely the leader's scene file is incorrect and the game cannot recognize it. Therefore, when the game tries to load the leader graphics it crashes. In order to get the civilization to play, you'll most likely have to fix it.
