Version 1 released on Steam Workshop - Feb 11, 2013

Hi everyone,
thanks to the wondrous and creative skill of Numitor, we present a Greek Epic pack containing most of the civilizations which belonged to the ancient and mythical greek world
It's a full G&K conversion of our previous vanilla mods
New civs and animated units will be the next moves as soon as Numitor will be back on CiV - Feedbacks are welcome
:)

The mod contains the following civs which belong to the ancient mediterranean history:

New Civs planned for BNW expansion

Lydians
Thracians

I love this package of great civs but the old version has been crashing as soon as I almost complete research for Physics since I got G&K, so I'm really looking forward to playing it again. I'm a Mac use though and Steam still doesn't let Mac users download from their forum. Would you be so kind as to make it downloadable from this site?

Can you post a direct link here for download? Many people are having problems downloading stuff for Civ V at Steam Workshop, myself included =/

Played a game as Pasiphaë, which by the way, has the same colors as Sweden I think, so that might be confusing, with those six civs and Persia and it's going quite well--just captured Sparta.

Just something of note, but none of the other civs have founded a religion or a pantheon which is rather odd. Just figured it might be worth mentioning.

Otherwise, I am very much enjoying this mod! Nice work :)

Edit: Just met Penthesilea ingame. Well, her diplo screen was a bit of a surprise XD

Also, just curious about the logic of choosing the horse as Troy's symbol, as it was their downfall and more a symbol of the Greek camps outside of Troy..? Otherwise, as I think I've mentioned, I really like the mod!!

Very strange indeed. In my test religions and pantheons have been created.

Some civ symbols are not historically true, and Troy's horse is one of them.

Hey Ambrox, I don't know how to PM you on this forum, can you give me a hand with my mod?

What is your problem?

Can't get it to be selectable but I don't know why. The files are all there and there's no errors being reported in my logs so it should be ready for testing, but I can't test it as I can't make it selectable.

I added you as a friend on steam so we could talk without spamming this up, but we could use my thread? The files are there.

The Steam Workshop version does not install.

Mod is huge and Steam Workshop requires more time than usual. Be patient. Ten thousand people subscribed it till now ;)

Exactly how big is it? From what I can tell the file doesn't appear to download properly from workshop, usualy showing 'item complete' instanty which doesn't happen for smaller mods (which usually take about 15 to 30 seconds to download). Workshop seems to think it's only 6.9 mb.

It seems you have issue with your PC. Manually check your G&K mod folder, just to know if something weird is there.

your civs dont even have a story or a picture once you click start game. it just shows swords all over the screen.
they also dont say any special abilities they have or units. How are we able to choose a civ without knowing anything

The mod works perfectly for me. Had you considered there may be a problem with your set-up, which is why no-one else has this issue?
