Thank you, best joke of the week!

He is sort of right though. Tommorow, when you buy a pizza, you'll pay the full price for a pizza with nothing on it, and then have to pay money for whatever you want on it.

Only vanilla, I dont like the concept of DLCs.

I think the companies are releasing very "dry" games because they want to sell DLCs later on, and this just doesnt seem right.

Its like buying a pizza and then you discover that theres no cheese on it.
"Ah, do you want cheese on your pizza? Only $4,99! How about some pepperoni? Just 5,99$".

Ah, but you could also argue that it is like buying your pizza, then paying for extra peparoni!!!

And everyone in their right mind loves pepparoni........*awaits chastising replys from several members, pointing out they dont*

Just vanilla thus far. I could be tempted to buy all the DLC if it were packaged together for a slightly cheaper price, and I would quite likely buy an expansion, if there is one.

yes the stuff like the extra pepperoni, pineapple, sea food (Polynesia ) .. etc

if u are not willing to pay for extra stuff just get the vanilla pizza (wondering if an actual vanilla pizza would taste good :goodjob:)

the game is playable without the DLCs so that was no way like getting a pizza with nothing on top

by the way i didn't vote, when i said i got them all i meant the DLC civ's and not the maps .. so there was no option for me (or perhaps the few DLC one ?)

I regretfully pre-ordered Civ V vanilla and I think it came with something extra. Not sure what it was. I think a map. I am too disgusted with the game to support it any further. I trusted them and was taken advantage of and refuse to support any longer.

I did however find a positive thing with buying this game from steam. I bought a Mac and when I installed steam to see what games were available I saw it would let me install a few of my purchased PC games including Civ V, on my Mac for free. I decided to give the game another try and I'm still very disappointed.

Hopefully they can recover this game, I'd sure hate to lose Civ forever.

All Civs, no maps, I like the random aspect to the map type anyway, so I never saw a need to buy any of the maps.

-Have fun

Exactly what I was going to say. Buy the civs and play random maps. Although I have played the Earth map twice, mostly I just play either random continents or pangea maps. Although playing the Polys on archipelago maps is fun. :)

Well, i love the incas and the polys but will not miss nebukad and even spain. But i am not happy to pay extra money for them. But we live in a capitalistic world.
