Since it takes me forever to play a game I'm going to wait until March update to play as the Inca next and try this.I did the Inca sanctuary thing

hoo boy thats a lotta yields! good to know tho that qhapaq nans count as a tile being improved. would be cool it it didn't count that way, after all roads on nonmountain tiles don't count against it being improved, but programmingwise makes senseI did the Inca sanctuary thing

. . . and you can't remove them. :/hoo boy thats a lotta yields! good to know tho that qhapaq nans count as a tile being improved. would be cool it it didn't count that way, after all roads on nonmountain tiles don't count against it being improved, but programmingwise makes sense
Thanks for being the sacrificial lamb. Now I know ahead of time.. . . and you can't remove them. :/
Which map script?I did the Inca sanctuary thing

It was actually just standard continents with standard settings. I just happened to rng into a narrow East-West Mountain chain across the center of my landmass.Which map script?
It's ... beautiful ...I did the Inca sanctuary thing
Luckily that tunnel was extremely useful, getting units many tiles across my starting empire to get those cities out before Poland took MY mountains. Thanks for being the sacrificial lamb. Now I know ahead of time.![]()
One Tile sacrifice to give us this masterpiece... It was worth it, I say.Luckily that tunnel was extremely useful, getting units many tiles across my starting empire to get those cities out before Poland took MY mountains.I don't think I've had them be so useful in an Inca game before. Like I said, the Mountains practically blocked the top half of my continent from the bottom. I think i'd build it again even if it marred the beautiful screenshot.

Or maybe they're waiting to settle a Coastal City so that they can give Sinbad meaning in life.![]()
Sinbad enjoying many turns of the quiet life on a quaint lake, no Roc birds, Jinn or heathen pirates in sight.
You could argue the Cree are waiting to recapture Pihwhatever with Sinbad once it turns, but having seen Cyrus sail his Sinbad back and forth across the same 7 tiles of open ocean for the whole duration of his lifespan in my previous game, I highly doubt a rational explanation. This would only be funnier if this were a single tile lake with Huitzliwhatever.
You should be able to collapse tunnels.
100% agree. Just make sure the AI can do it appropriately if it's implemented. That's the hard part of the work. This seems like a miss, especially considering how effective tunnels are during a war. Collapsing or pillaging a tunnel would be a fun strategic decision to make.
