Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

Behold the sacred penguins of Artemis!

So I want to play Montezuma, to settle all the luxuries, to unleash my eagle warriors on the world.

And I get this. :lol::lol::lol:

I played it. The game is also in marathon speed. Most boring first 200 turns ever, while somewhat beelining to shipbuilding. I got lucky with five city states on my subcontinent to the north which cleared barbarians, and I could send my first two workers exploring. One of them even got a goody hut. :goodjob: Afterwards sent two galleys, got circumnavigation before my second city. First district was government, because at first I meant I only need celestial navigation for swimming, and I thought I could do without campus. Should have done writing first.
Even got a golden classical age from my discoveries with the galleys.
Shipbuilding found me with two eagle warriors, one settler and building some more army including the magic battering ram. Took out Brunei to the south, got an emergency for that, Japan was just south of Brunei and responded. They didn't even have walls?! Everybody else (except me) had them. Now I also own Japan, have quite a few workers and 11 cities, building markets for trade routes everywhere I can. Even chopped pyramids in the second city. So the game looks good. T

Are the penguins from a mod?

Indeed! Two mods, actually (I am the creator :D). As @Laurana Kanan pointed out, CIVITAS Resources Expanded. That mod adds penguins as a bonus resource for tundra. However, with the small add-on More Penguins!, penguins become a luxury resource and can spawn on plains, desert, and grass as well :D I just made the last one for fun, but I found myself using it exclusively.

Lol, I forgot about that one. You can never have too many penguins!

I think Kongo just broke the Great Prophet bank...
Mvemba.png

the "unmet player" had 4.3 Great Prophet points per turn, but somehow never cashed them in?

Yosemite sure is colder than I remember it.

And those snow yields sure are impressive.

- Ehm, sir, there is a barbarian warrior squad north to us, should we attack them?

- But, uhm, sir... there is a city that we need to defend east of here, are you sure we shouldnt just att...
- Just place your buttock on the grass!
- But sir ...
- DEW IT !!!
- All right, you're da boss ...

Um, so how did this Georgian destroyer get into this lake? I even looked up the city list for Georgia to see if Isin is in their list, but it doesn't appear to be. Though it's possible they owned that city at one point.

I like penguins but the thought of building a camp on them frightens me.

Umm, what? How can you have negative cities lost?I don't recall ever seeing that before. Though I have an idea why it happened, it was a city that was repeatedly flipping throughout the 2nd half of the game.

I think Tamar owned and lost Krakow (notice the star Icon in Krakow's banner - Jadwiga lost her original capital and later regained it)

I've seen it before in one of my games. It occurred with a civ that was eliminated from the game and I brought back to life by liberating their cities. My best guess was that when bringing them back it somehow reset the city lost counter to 0, so liberating more cities turned it negative.
