Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

When you kill the scout while its camp still exist, that scout will eventually respawn after some time (how much? never was able to find out really...). But I think the algorythm for scout respawn is at the closest tile from the camp. It that said camp had spawned some troops, and the IA enclosed them, maybe the closest tile would have been that valley?? It is still strange, since the cities are quite old and the skirmiser is rather close to the player troops (so shouldn't have spawned that long ago). Maybe the camp was on Swidnica location, and quickly destroyed???

Maybe there's a camp in that other mountain gap next to it? Still an unrevealed tile there, and this location would be the "closest" location to that camp

You may be thinking there's a barbarian encampment in the fog to the East, but I later found out there wasn't, just another mountain.

Too bad the AI didn't choose the Reliquaries belief. Do you know how many Mbanza I had to builtd for suicidal Apostles? More than the sum of all those (including Neighborhood) I could build since the release! I am not going to do that again soon (18 Relics, 8 Writings, 4 Sculptures, 3 Artifacts, and 7 Musics)

I am glad they allow to choose the color of each civilization, some of them are very close. This is good new for the colorblind!

Spoiler :
Look at this: this is ridiculous! Poland with pink? Australia with green? This is madness! And I fear that I get confused between France and USA.

Let's fix this...

Much better!

Well, at he end, all their bases will belong to us. So the colour doesn't matter really, no? :mischief:

(Though I would put the player in orange, so that anything blue would be easily identifiable as target to kill :scan: )

1) I love Kongo bonus. I always imagine my people eating some apostle's finger and tourists coming to watch it.

2) Unfortunately, the game doesn't repect my attempts to confuse myself and it forces the change even when you choose custom colors, If it can. At one point the colors it chose were still confusing towards another civilization, just not the one I chose. Like something along the lines of me wanting to confuse Norway with Englad but the game was like no you'll confuse Norway with Gorgo's Sparta instead, take it or leave it.

Sometimes I like to choose the bg colour based on what I expect them to focus on. Red for war, white for religion, blue for navy, light-blue for science etc. I thought it would help me in planning Alliances but alas the possibilities there are limited.

Damn, Incas just put that one stone there. We cannot build my project now because them placing that one stone would make it too obvious we copied it.

Fun fact - you can't actually do that (what you did in the second picture) the game will not let two civs share the same primary color. (as fun as it is). The game will still exercise it's jersey color rule and switch to alternatives for all the civs.

This is for those of you who complain about your starting location. Poor Kongo AI had to start with this. He even managed to build 2 wonders despite this poor location. After that, they struggled quite a bit. Actually now I see 3 wonders. I have no idea how they managed that.
It's not the worst location, but I would definitely restart it.

I know they're supposed to be called the Land Down Under... but this is ridiculous. Mvemba above got a legendary start, relatively speaking.
At least the campus is breathtaking....

Dear Firaxis, I believe your "balanced start" setting has some room for improvement.
As someone who HATES Australia and John Curtin in Civ VI, I am so happy to see this <3

So.... do we go for Mausoleum here or do we want to keep this awesome 11 appeal resort? Decisions, decisions....

11 gold versus 11 science, 11 faith and 11 culture. And extra engineer charges.

Of course, 11 appeal is a once in a lifetime thing.

This seemed funny to me for the caption, but also because it was the early 1800s. Normally he's moaning and whining either for religion or something, and all of a sudden it's "Don't bring me God for you cannot bring me to myself."View attachment 543982

Never seen that quote. Did you vote for him for Diplomatic victory?
