Conquered and liberated?

Scythia conquered it early on. I managed to liberate it in the information era when my tech was finally able to overcome their huge numbers of cavalry!

IIRC if the wonder is only half built, upon liberation it will disappear; a finished wonder will stay in the CS and keep supporting the city.

So during the pandemic, I had a good amount of free time, so I was able to binge on old TV series I liked. Doctor Who (3rd and 4th Doctor episodes), V, even the old Glen Larson Battlestar Galactica.
Then of course there was this gem...

I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed watching that series. You really appreciate the story arcs when you can plough through a few episodes in a single sitting.

+9 amenities under t50 is a new one for me... (and I'll admit this is a rather nice ToA) Who cares about the new happiness thresholds? They should really give a 3rd tier of bonuses for 6+ amenities.

It just erupted into existence. It wasn't there, and then it was. The scout already had some damage, so the volcano didn't do the whole lot.
It's funny, I don't actively follow this thread, so I didn't realise this was being talked about just a page back, till I went back and looked at the last couple of pages today. With those comments in mind, I thought I'd just add I'm not playing on Primordial.

Well, to be fair, you never NEED it. A pantheon is something you can always get, so you could even get it in turn 300 by something else that gives faith : P

Would have loved to play that start as Mali though... damn...

I kinda felt bad for taking settler. I played the game to see how fast i could win without conquering cities. It took me around 270 turns . It could be probably 30-40 earlier if not the horible tech tree and meteors destroying my cities.

Wow... question... if you DO take the settler, is Sweden considered conquered, and the 5 warriors disapear ? Otherwise, it's pretty much a death wish to take it !
