Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

We often see the AI accepting deals that are really bad for them, but apparently they also can't spot a deal that is ridiculously good for them.

Yeah I think they're hard-programmed to never let go of the last Luxury, similarly to never trade more than 20 DF between Congresses.

Poor Preah Vihear (which I'd captured awhile ago from the Khmer). An active flood, blizzard and eruption affecting it at the same time. This was on Immortal with disasters at a 3. Made me laugh.View attachment 575548

Yeah my first thought when I saw the picture was "Hmm... This does not sound like Korean city list at all... Somebody was nasty girl". The disasters are merely a curse.

I really worked hard for that one by delaying the popping of the some late found ancient ruins until slotting in the Inspection policy for a few turns (and of course I made use of the new rules for promotion combining, when founding corps/armies):

Sadly even when upgraded to a Paratrooper that unit will be more like a Fabergé egg than a real help in combat...
uh? You're using a mod that has Paratroops and with Archers lineage upgraded to it??
What's Plankers Korps by the way meow

Great Bath (Under Construction) during a flood.png

Yesterday, in my Babylon game. I completed Great Bath just as a flood was occurring on the Euphrates River.

This river has two names!?

I didn't realize the Panama canal could catch on fire. Since when does water burn (I suppose if there's an oil spill maybe)? And yeah, it's a useless canal, I just built it to build all the late game wonders (I didn't get all of them though).

As someone who grew up in the Cleveland area: Yes, water can burn if sufficiently polluted (although contrary to popular belief, it wasn’t just Cleveland—a lot of cities had similar river fires).

Better than naming it all Mansamusia

Well nothing is better than something with "Buktu" in its name isnt it?

So Timbuktu is just Buktu dedicated to Tim, the Enchanter you say?
