Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

Probably Harald beat them to Desert Folklore because Oslo has one desert tile in the third ring of its city radius. :mischief:

Nah, I took God of the Sea because I met Arabia early and really didn't expect to get a Prophet. But just because I'm not the AI doesn't mean I wouldn't take Desert Folklore :D

So its 220 AD, playing a large map and we're down to 7 player, and with Mvemba in the game there's a prophet for everybody! Nonetheless....

I guess Saladain just wants Mansa Musa to do the heavy lifting? Or they're both sulking because someone else took Desert Folklore/Work Ethic?
I had the same thing, and actually playing Gandhi I wanted others to found their religion, but then the AI also kept voting for no GPP for prophets in world congress...

Ignoring the nearby coastline, or even the lake, this sailing clan decided to establish their tribe along the vast expanses of Lake Retba.

They're known as the Three Sails Clan, but good thing quadriremes have two sails since they won't be able to fit three ships in there.

Since Lake Retba is up to 40% salt, though, at least the Quadireme will be floating really high in the bright pink water . . .

So I haven't been playing a lot lately due to a wrist injury and wasn't paying enough attention to realize in time I could have made an IZ with three dams and an aqueduct adjacent...

Privateer was on auto exploring when all of a sudden he wasn't. I have no idea how this happened. I couldn't move it out by hand, he was stuck there until some ice melted.

No "sugar", you couldn't...

Sorry, too used to playing with a mod that allows removing all resources to mention it... How could one play without it?! :crazyeye:

Did you get through the "canal" of the City State?
Or Bermuda Triangle?

I put the search window for Bermuda Triangle in the screenshot. And I couldn't manually move the privateer through the CS.

I thought this was interesting.
Personal Best I think.
I started an All Random Deity Pangaea Map Game.
No Game Modes
Low Sea Level
I rolled the Gauls.
Figured Easy Game.
It got easier with 15 Era Score by turn 2!
I decided to move away from the Spices since FoY was located on Turn 1.
Settle the Wonder, Plains Hill and Save the Tree Chop.
I uploaded the Auto Save Turn 1 Save File for those that want to play it.

@Tech Osen Could you possibly have been suze to that CS, your privateer entered one of its tiles, and then exactly on that turn lost suzerainty ? I'm pretty sure you'd get kicked out from the CS territory, and I'm also pretty sure the game could be stupid enough to have sent you on the other side !!!

Where, though? That would work if there were a passage from the open sea that was covered by the CS territory, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
That might have worked theoretically if your privateer was on the fish hex and the other closets hexes were occupied by other units? :hmm: The only other likely explanation I see is a bug, maybe the game somehow only evaluates the end spot when unit is on auto explore, thus allowing it to go through the ice before being kicked out of the city state territory.

IIRC I already had gunboat diplomacy slotted.

Barbarian mode was on. I think it somehow happened when the camp upgraded to city state. Does it spawn extra units when it shifts?

Maybe you folks have seen this before, but it's an unusual situation for me.
The rivers and floodplains are arranged such that this city needs three dams to mitigate all the flooding:
