CIV3 stuck!

Hey all!

When I reach 1580AD CIV3 goes stuck... I play on Windows XP Home Edition The failure report says this:

AppName: civilization3.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: civilization3.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 001537fa

Please help me.. I love Civ3 and sometimes it also goes stuck earlier in the game.. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO
