Bug report: for some reason, in this latest version the "Pick Latest" and "Pick Last Opened" buttons no longer work. Or rather, no games get chosen to fit those categories, and the buttons are disabled. Running XP SP2.
We have a version that should fix that. I'll try and remember to post it tonight / tomorrow.Furiey said:Hmmm does seem like it's ME then. I still had the download for the previous version on my PC so I reinstalled that as that works OK (apart from the known bugs) on ME. Perhaps ainwood would make that version available until there's another version.
Glad its working!Furiey said:Thanks ainwood, all the text is back with the latest version![]()

Nope.ainwood said:Does the latest version work?
Ok - so you can still manually choose files - just can't get it to automatically get the latest files?Niklas said:Nope.
Tried going back in time to see for how long this has been so, but it seems my cached versions of the installer all install 2152.![]()
Yes and yes.ainwood said:Ok - so you can still manually choose files - just can't get it to automatically get the latest files?
Does it work in automatic mode properly (ie load autosaves whilst you're playing?)
This online help page is pretty good at explaining everything.
We've had that request - currently you can for enemy cities, just not your own ones. WIll be changed in the next release.TruePurple said:*****I wish I could put virtual cities right next to actual ones when city planning.
I wish I could virtually take out a city so its city radius etc isn't shown on the civassist map.
This would be useful when taking over enemy territory, sometimes you just want to turn a enemies city into workers eventually desolving it. This way you can better plan city placement around it in the mean time.
