I'm fine with Syterion controlling Russia, Germany & England and wish him all the luck to fight Italy.

This sounds a bit cynical, but I really hate pulling a dead horse. Nothing personal Syterion !

I am sure the Italian can be beaten (and a draw fought for), but I have no confidence the correct moves would be applied by the Russian. I am willing to put a little more time into this affaire, but I too won't flog a dead horsie. By now both Italy and myself should have been given a proposed plan of joint action to approve as without our units a solo can't be stopped - looks like it'll be down to me...AGAIN.

As for Russia, it would have to be a fleet in Sevastopole - his lack of any response does make a joke of his statement that he wants to win/play this game out.

The English King is quite happy to grant Italy a solo victory on the basis of those terms proposed early - territorial integrity of the British Isles and by extension to our German neighbour.

Italy has done enough to win, sure they could be held to a draw, but not with the current Russian Leadership and that is part and parcel of the game. It wouldn't be a game of diplomacy if I was put in charge of several powers and told to get on with it in a military campaign.


As far as I'm concerned the fat lady has sung and Keirador/Italy is the proud winner of CivDipXIII - Dancing with the Devil

Does the decision have to be unanimous, or majority?
In Broken Resolutions, the majority opinion prevailed, though it wasn't unanimous.

It must be remembered, if we're taking a vote, that France has not been eliminated.

Germany has already lost it's territorial integrity.

England is still English, but Scotland has been lost by the Brits.
