I'd like to see a "grow to the happiness limit" button.
Yeah that would own, the Governor should do this when activated I think.

Since I see that people are already wanting for a better version (myself added) I figured that we should rather than have all sorts of ideas being cluttered into one thread we could spread them out according to what idea if you will that they fit too? Who's with me on this?
For Instance we could have a single thread dealing with a said topic such as religions, nations, units, techs, ect.

The same can't be said with tanks or choppers, how much of the exisitng unit can be used for the new one? The human.
The speed of tanks and helicopters still gives them a similar purpose, and the AI might never get rid of its cavalry if it can't upgrade them.
Besides, by the same token a maceman shouldn't upgrade to a rifleman. They have little in common in terms of weaponry. A catapult couldn't be transformed into a cannon, you would have to throw it away and build something new. Upgrades in the game are generally a total replacement of the old equipment and new training for the soldiers, so I can't see anything wrong with retraining cavalry units to play a similar role in a mechanised fashion.

I like CIV4 because it has taken out the micromanagement of CIV´s. (The German version has 10 pages of design notes by Soren Johnson - they make sense !)

I always thought it would be cool if Civ5 took you through the normal civ 5 game with new stuff added, then after the space race continued directly into SMAC 2. Like one giant super game, with full tech trees and everything
