I must say I was getting desperate about writing in cyrillic in this glorious game because I was searching for such a patch, method, crack or whatever for a very long time (over an year). I want to translate it into Bulgarian for everyone here that does not understand English. Yes, but the squares and other symbols were stopping me from doing that until now. Today my "quest" has ended. I stuck upon a Russian forum after I saw the screenshot posted by Ginger_Ale and there appeared to be a sticky thread called "Для тех у кого проблемы с шрифтами в игре". The translation is "For those who have problems with the font in the game". So in the thread there was a link to a file hosted in civfanatics.ru who is actually an EXE file that contains cyrilized LSANS.TTF file. It changes the information in the registry of the Windows and replaces the current LSANS font making it possible to write with cyrilic letters. Just save the file, double-click it, and restart after it has done its job.
