Civilization IN SPACE!

If he does not check this thread, how will he know?

Turn to civ_addicted via Tracker.

At last getting beyond that early stage.

Must admit I am still unconvinced about this mod.

Part of it is the Civpedia is incomplete. It is hard to find out what does what precisely. For example, habitation domes: which planet and what happens to surplus.

I might as well mention it here, by default you can't see the Civilopedia descriptions of techs you haven't yet discovered, which you can change in the BUG menu.

Regarding habitation systems, I have literally no idea what you are talking about. It increases the population limit of the Planet it is on by 1. If you have a Planet with a population limit of 2, and you build a Habitation System there, you will have a population limit of 3 there from now on.

...

You do know how Planets work, right?

Also what surplus? Surplus population? If you have more population than can fit on your planets they are unassigned and do nothing except increasing your maintenance costs, but Habitation Systems are kind of the solution to that problem no?

Ok thanks for the explanation. Yes it was the surplus pop.

Alright.

Considering you can switch civics without anarchy you should actually be the last civ to have a surplus population problem. A quick stint in Police or Slave State, whip or draft all those lazy unemployed people, switch back to other civics.

Contact with the last missing civ -- Paradise. I bet they will be ecstatic to accept my generous trade offer. From the top space civ to the bottom one.

Forge just successfully blackmailed me! But who will have the last laugh? :mwaha:

How does Golden Age work in Space, I mean in practical terms? I don't think I witnessed any +1 :hammers: or :commerce: from each planet with those, and certainly :hammers: from the Crossroads' trade routes experienced no bonus.

No anarchy for civics switch (in fact I'm saving my National Epic for Environmentalism/Industrialism), +1 hammer and +1 commerce on every planet that provides at least one of these. If you don't witness that then that might be a bug?

Ok, my bad, all works, I have just forgotten the original output...

gps having to re-designated colonisation area.

When a star system indicates inhabited, does that mean by a Pirate or by un met/connected civ.
