Civilization Request Thread

On what?

This is going to be a part of my Lost Civilizations set, focused on mythical, hypothetical or, as you would call it, prehistorical civilizations. This idea may be developed to a some kind of a scenario, like Empires of a Smoky Skies, but it's too early to think about it right now. So here we go:
1. Atlantis Empire
Leader: Isis
Culture: Symbiosis of Greek and Egyptian
UA: The Great Legacy - gain a large sum of :c5science:Science and :c5culture:Culture every time you construct a World Wonder, found a coastal city of build naval unit, based on game's Era and speed. :c5culture:Culture and :c5gold:Gold cost of purсhasing coastal tiles is halved.
UU: Palace Guard - replaces Archer, but available from the start. Have +1 Sight, +2 :c5rangedstrength:Ranged Strenght and increases Production towards Wonders in the city when garrisonned.
UB: Hall of the High Ones - replaces Lighthouse.+1:c5science:Science for every coastal tile worked by city (bonus increases to +2 if there's a improved Resource on this tile).
2. Hyperboreans
TBA asap.
3. Lemurians
TBA
4. Mu
TBA
5. Amazon(s)
TBA

That seems... either very powerful, or very, very, useless. Archipelago Atlantis'll be unstoppable.

I didn't want to go through 134 pages of requests, so sorry if this has already been requested. Could someone help me with making a mod for any of the ATLA cultures (Fire Nation under Ozi, Earth Kingdom under Earth King whoever, or Water Tribes under Yue's Father)?

If you do work on your own like some xml or art there's a fair chance someone would help you out.

Speaking of help, who here does art?

A scenario of the ATLA world was made some time ago... I believe it is compatible with BNW, though.

I like doing maps and can do the icons for the civ itself but not UU or UB icons and definitely no leader screens

I can make (basic) civ icons. Sort of.

Hmm okay, I might call upon you in a time of need! But first a question!

I'm going to post a Sokoto Caliphate design soon and I have to ask, what would their symbol look like? Since their irl banner was just one colour.

Something generic like a spark of light, or the civ's name in their local alphabet always works. Or you can use the silhouette of the leader's headress, or maybe the vector of the book without the arabic looking scripture.

Hmm yeah be creative. I'll go and find something. In the mean time here's my longawaited William Wallace Scotland design!

(Credit to Natan35 for helping)
UA: Rise of the Highlanders
Units take 25% less damage from combat damage and ignore enemy zone of control if starting the turn on a hill, move through Hills in your territory like they are roads (can't form :c5trade: city connections though). Hills also provide a base of +1 :c5food: food.

UU: Gallowglass (replaces Longswordsman)
Scottish replacement for the Longswordsman, has a much greater Defensive Strength than normal (can I still buff their Combat Strength even if I've increased their defensive bonus?), it is cheaper to produce and buy and doesn't require Iron to build. If built in a city with a Barracks or a Castle present, then this Unit can perform a Ranged Attack before entering Melee, Upgrades to a Musketman.

UU: Redshanks (replaces Crossbowman)
Scottish replacement for the Crossbowmen, it is a weaker replacement for Crossbowmen, but is able to perform Melee Attacks, and is even stronger when doing so. Available with amphibious promotion, production is 5% cheaper per Iron resource you didn't use(max 30%) and is also cheaper to purchase, it Upgrades to a Gatling Gun.

Is the Gallowglass really Scottish though? Wasn't it a group of scots nobles exiled to ireland?
I shouldn't say anything because my Circassia civ idea has the Ghulam as UU, but...

Yeah, they were Scots Mercenaries who fought in the service of Irish Lords - I'm pretty sure the word 'Gallowglass' originally comes from the Gaelic for 'Foreign Soldier' or some variant thereof.

The word "Gallowglass" is an Anglicization of gaelic "Galloglaiigh", which in turn is derived from Gall Oglaigh, meaning Foreign Warrior or Foreign Gael. They weren't native to Ireland, but they weren't considered native to Scotland either.

Ghulam for Circassia? That's stretching it, and yes while the Irish lords were the ones you used the Gallowglass the most and keep them around, Scotland did use them at points. It would't of been a surprise to see them in the Scottish army during the Wars of Scottish Independence. So it's possible that William commanded them, and maybe some Redshanks as well.

Also here's my Aztec Triple Alliance desing with 3rd and 4th UC's:

The Aztec Triple Alliance under Tlatoani Montezuma of Tenochtitlan

UA: Flower Wars
May annex City States with :c5faith: Faith by being at war for 5 turns or more and eliminating half of that City State's military. Alternatively, may puppet City States with :c5faith: Faith by demanding tribute. +15% Combat Strength for units outside of friendly territory.

UU: Quauhpilli (Swordsman replacement)
The Quauhpilli is a unique Swordsman replacement for the Aztecs. Receive +33% :c5strength: combat bonus when fighting in forest or jungle tiles and doesn't require iron. You can also sacrifice one :c5citizen: citizen from a city to instantly recruit a Quaupilli.

UB: Telpochcalli (Library replacement)
The Telochcalli is a unique library replacement for the Aztecs. Instead of giving it usual bonus of +1 :c5science: Science for every 2 :c5citizen: Citizens in the city, the Telochcalli give's +1 :c5science: Science and :c5faith: Faith for every 2 :c5citizen: Citizens in a city while also costing 50 :c5production: Production instead of 75 :c5production: Production.

The next two uniques are the 3rd and 4th UC's.

UB: Calmecac (University replacement)
The Calmecac is a unique University replacement for the Aztecs. Instead of it's usual bonuses the Calmecac yields +33% :c5science: Science (+50% with Free Thought policy) and +33% :c5faith: Faith, +2 :c5science: Science and :c5production: production from jungle tiles. Has the two :c5science: Science Specialist slots plus a :c5faith: Priest and :c5production: Engineer (renamed Artisan) specialist slot. (The Priest gives +3 :c5faith: faith and +3 :c5greatperson: great person points towards Great Prophets.) Doesn't require a library to build.

UB: Double Aqueduct (Aqueduct replacement)
The Double Aqueduct is a unique Aqueduct replacement for the Aztecs. Along with it's usual benefits, which is +40% of :c5food: Food is carried over after a new :c5citizen: Citizen is born, if a city is :c5trade: connected to the capital and both the capital and that city have a Double Aqueduct, then the Double Aqueduct yields +5% more :c5food: food and all tiles next to fresh water yield +1 :c5food: food.

Aztec Triple Alliance(Moctezuma I)
UA: The Flower Wars

Replaces Barracks. Unlike it, unlocked at drama & poetry, and generates +1 :c5faith: faith and +1 :c5culture: culture. Units trained in a city with Tēlpochcalli recieve XP equal to the city's :c5faith: faith output.

*faith is equal to unit's strength×its level. This amount may nit exceed your faith output.
