Pardon me but those look like the lamest UU names I've ever seen. I mean, muralla, really?
Do you have any reccomendations for changing the name of the Uniques?
Pardon me but those look like the lamest UU names I've ever seen. I mean, muralla, really?
Well, depends on what you're looking for.
The Caballero would be better off as an Almogavar, maybe Jinete but that's also somewhat vague (I trust it means the same in Portuguese as it is in spanish.)
The Carabela is really unappropiate and truly, Galleons were much more iconic of the Spanish Empire, even if Caravels were the ones used to discover the New World.
As for the Muralla, I, err.... I'm not sure what you're trying to represent there, walls that can be painted?

Caballero: Great! Those are quite good names.
Carabela: Turns out, checking old midnight notes on researches on Spain isn't good at all. I should've double-checked.
Muralla: Old Spanish Medieval towns were outfitted with walls in order to protect against the Moors during the Reconquista, or even before it. As a result, they're sort of tourist attractions in smaller towns or more classic towns. The Great Work of Writing thing comes from the fact that most of Spain's classic literature is from that period, which is definetively interesting.

I think you went for a more "region" approach rather than "history" one
Castille, Aragon and Navarre were all fully independent of eachother. The logical split of the spaniards would be: Asturias, Leon, Galicia, Castille, Navarre, Aragon, and only then a united Spain with the new world focus. This really made no sense...Castille, Aragon and Navarre were all fully independent of eachother. The logical split of the spaniards would be: Asturias, Leon, Galicia, Castille, Navarre, Aragon, and only then a united Spain with the new world focus.

I like most of the ideas but as of now the first two are incredibly unbalanced. The faith from occupied city's should be reduced to 1 or 2 and the last effect of the Tribunal should be removed. Are the Golden Age points from Aragon's UA for when you send the trade route or for its duration? if its the latter its incredibly OP you could get more than a hundred golden age points per turn from it. The Xebec is also incredibly powerful. One experienced Xebec could generate more than 60 golden age points per turn. I recommend you remove that effect, the Xebec is powerful enough as it is I'm not sure why the Xebec replaces the galley(the same goes for many other naval UU's you have designed)it would make more sense as a Galleass replacement.
