Grr, I pre-ordered the Deluxe and no longer feel like I'm getting a good deal compared to everyone else. /s

Hopefully this will make a lot of people much happier, and increase the amount of people enjoying several of the awesome DLC options. If you get the pack of the first six, and scoff at the Vikings option, I would strongly suggest you give that scenario a try. It's one of the most fun.

Khmer/Indonesia & Nubia DLC's are each 33% off.
Every individual DLC is 33% off, not only Khmer/Indonesia and Nubia.

Time to finally complete my DLC collection and buy Poland. :D

Also, nice to see the six DLC bundled at a price that's less than the deluxe sale price. :crazyeye:

Excellent! Thanks for posting the news. Gonna go get it after I finish up two of my vanilla games real quick.

Stingy discounts.

the DLC bundle isn't discounted proportionally if you have some of the items already

Ran into a problem I thought I would explain, maybe help someone else who might run into the same issue.

I pre-purchased the game but haven't bought any DLC since. The pre-purchase came with free Viking DLC. Now that I own the Viking DLC it won't let me buy the Civ/Scenario bundle. The remaining DLCs come to $22.06. The bundle is $20.08. Now, I didn't pre-purchase an item to get free DLC just to have to turn around and pay 40% of the cost of that "free" DLC back to the company that said they were giving me something for free.

But I think I found a way around this. I can go into Help>Steam Support>Civ 6>Viking DLC>"I want to permanently remove this game from my account"

Once that step is completed I should be able to purchase the bundle at $20.08. I'll have to report back on whether this works or not because I'm currently in a RV game that includes vikings, so I can't do it right now.

Now, I'm not asking for a refund or trying to "come up" on this transaction. I'm simply gaming the system to not have to pay 40% of the cost ($2 of $5) of something that supposed to be free.

Steam bundles should automatically adjust their price to include or exclude DLC you already own that these bundles include. There's no reason why removing an item from your account should make a bundle less expensive; it should in fact increase the price of the bundle because you'd be repurchasing that item too.

Edit: Apparently this specific bundle does not, and is only available if you don't own any DLC at all? That's... unique. And rather scummy. I've never actually seen that before.

Exactly. That's the behavior I would have expected. But in practice, that's not what happened.
