Civilization VII Screenshots Thread (Funny, Strange, etc.)

Kicking myself because I built the wrong amphipheater-shaped building on this tile haha

Started askiamaxxing a bit too late, if I'd had more time in the era I could've made settlements to get two more camels for six more resources but I think 47 resources in one settlement is pretty decent anyway.

Also got both the future tech and civic on the very last turn and plenty of treasure resource settlements (6, 3, 2 and 2) so pretty good era all round lmao.

These yields are unethical!!! Pity I don't know where they all come from :-/

Highrolled into a mental start - Catherine as Rome in rough tundra, no hostile indeps and plenty of space for passive expansion. Now I'm casually crushing science and culture as Bulgaria and will soon evolve into Russia for the steamroll domination.

Meanwhile Harriet and Himiko are in a black widow alliance and are slowly but steadily gobbling up the men, on the back of Harriet's insane free War Support. (She took militaristic attribute points AND has Gate of All Nations. Enjoy that free -5 War Support, guys. :crazyeye:). Sadly, I sided with the men (I AM Catherine, after all) and had to break the alliances as I was doing most of the work. Oh well. Play better next time...x

I'm hoping someone will re create the Better Report Screen that we had in Civ6. i really miss it, along with several other mods.

At war with EVERYONE and she's beating all the male AIs anyway. :crazyeye:

A wall is just a very big stone snake.

These Treasures are going to arrive before the age ends, right?

Just another casual "spawn in the middle of pangaea without any access to the sea" games.

1. nearest port in the homelands
2. treasure fleet location
3. distant lands colonies :crazyeye:

One thing I learned, you can pack a treasure fleet into a naval commander. Since they tend to move faster, that can speed them up a little bit. Especially as you get towards the end of the era, it can shave a couple turns off the voyage.

I remember doing that in my very first game. I had seen the "Exploration Age" livestream where the Firaxians talked about the vulnerability of Treasure Fleets. I erred on the side of protecting them, but the AI never attacked.

I totally agree about using promoted Naval Commanders to pack them in then speed them along.

63 resources in one settlement!

Lost 2 potential slots to Inca being in the game and therefore getting Machu Pikchu before me, 2 to a camel being stuck in an unreachable spot, and at least 3 due to losing city states/them being razed - but still pretty happy with this, beat the minimum 60 I was aiming for.

Wow look at all those treasure resources I left for the AI, and that they didn't settle.

Immortal difficulty btw.

40 units in total in this screenshot alone (I built exactly none of them).

You're cool with Napoleon and Confucius but Hattie hates you? This is the opposite of my games.
I have many, many specialists because over half of my settlements are cities. I also build a large amount of wonders because I started as Maya. I also do not know where Hattie is (she has two settlements somewhere in a corner that I haven't explored yet, otherwise I would have sent her a route).

Napoleon I don't really have an answer for but he's my neighbour and my main trade partner because he has more resources than Harriet has. He hates me now though lol. He went democratic and I went fascist.
