Count me among those who have inflicted our addictions on our girlfriends/spouses/partners/whatever.

Unlike Jason Fox's gf, however, mine has no hesitation in getting nasty with nukes or whatever. She also doesn't react to threats very well, and while she's not as dedicated a micro-manager as I am, she has savvy strategy for waging wars.

I'm probably one of the few on this forum who is NOT looking forward to multiplayer .

Who'd've thunk civ3 would be such a popular couples game? My very close friends have just had their second child, yet they still manage (by sharing chores) to get in the odd hour of civ3 play. However, they do not have time for this forum, sadly.

Isn't that the most irritating crap there is? I tell her to read the manual like I had to and she gets bent out of shape. Tell me what to do....tell me what to do.... Hey how about just play the game and leave me the hell alone! (I always work on strategies and focus on that, her fate is her problem ).

Don't come between us and Civ (unless you have something "silk" and need to be liberated )

Hehe, now we`re at the stage where she`s in extensive contact with other civs and plays all alone.

I checked out one of her games yesterday - I never ever before saw such an ammassed number of Mounted Warriors before. Even on Deity the AI doesn`t go for such overkill!

And this is how she played on:

"I want that Iron in Russia!"

<attacks Russia>

three turns gains her 5 cities (well, she abused ROP )

<Russia asks for peace>

she demands a city, 40 Gold and World Map and gets it. "Oh, man, I forgot the town with the iron!"

<attacks Russia>
three turns brin Russia down to one city (size 1)

Russia sues for peace>

again she takes all they have.

Next turn she goes: "Oh, well, better finish this up!"
Russia dies!


Obviously, she`s of the same kind of mind as I am

btw, she has no, absolutely no problem with deploying and using nukes. Especially for a fist strike.

Dear God, be with us men and prepare us for the buttwhopping we`re about to receive in MP!
