@Speaker- Where did you hear about these?

When I say emperor equivalent I mean not 8 cost factor, but 5/6 hardest difficulty (with improved AI, 8 cost factor could be deity).

Some of the highest difficulty levels are Monarch, Emperor, Immortal, and Deity.

So we have something probably like ?? - ?? - Noble - ?? - Monarch - Emperor - Immortal - Deity - ??.

That be 9, as per Chieftess' multiplayer article:

Additionally, any level of play (there are 9 difficulty levels in the game!) can be chosen as a handicap. "Noble" is the standard level.

Allright, emperor it is after Cheiftan to learn the basics.

Or, I might beat cheiftan, then beat ??, then beat??, then beat noble, then ??, monarch, ??, emperor, immortal, deity. Might be the fastest way to learn, might not.
