Looking For : C4 1.61 or WL 2.08
Location : GMT -5 (New York)
Favs : Any
Communication : PM first then e-mail
Personal Style : never played against humans so usually build/expand until attacked then its on!!!
Restrictions : 1) No home computer so for now Mon-Fri (at work) could easily get 5-10 turns per day, depending on the day and other players availability. 2) work comp is lacking in abilities so only Tiny/Small maps

Even willing to play a 1 turn per day game, just PM me if interested

Looking for a PBEM game, BTS. Since I haven't played Civ in over a year and since I'm new to BTS, I'm not that good. Noble is pretty difficult, but fun :)
 
i've played single player for years, looking to get into multiplayer.

i don't have warlords or beyond the sword, but it looks like I'm going to to have to get them if i want to play with other people.

in the meantime, if any one is starting an email or pitboss game (without the expansions) i would be interested.

i would also join an existing game, if a slot is available.

new to the forum, been playing civ 4 on and off single player for a good while now, would like to join a PBEM game have never played one before

i currently have civ 4, and warlords and the new expansion pack is somewhere in the royal mail postal system, so who knows when im gonna get its

I'd love to play some PBEM. I am new to Civ4 (though i have been playing Civ since the first one) and have only played MP with some friends.

I only have vanilla, but am open to any style of game. Let me know.
 
I've been playing Civ IV for almost a year. I play all of the GOTM games but I'm getting tired of single player. I'd love to try playing PBEM. I only have Civ IV vanilla v1.74.

Hey I'm back after a long absence. Unemployment being the cause of lots of troubles including lack of connection to the net :( .
However, I'm ready to join in a few PBEM games again if anybody is up for it :D

To those of you who have posted & would like to get more bang out of your request for games, let's keep game-starting threads out of this one please. Start your threads elsewhere & not here so as to avoid the clutter that is already building. This is a PLAYER DIRECTORY for all intents and purposes.

This thread was created in the hopes of getting many of us Civ-Fanatics to advertise ourselves that we are 'ready, willing, & able' to participate in some PBEM or PitBoss games. So just reply and ADD yourself to this thread to form a simple Player Directory for the community to use for player-slot filling in creating games.

For those that may be interested, maybe copying the ‘format’ and adding/substituting other relevant features PBEM organizers are looking for could help make things easier for gamers in general. I like organization---probably due to my ocd! For example, I'm thinking probably filling in the basics of the following would help:

Looking For: (Type of game, game specifics, preferences…)
Location: Where you be! (GMT Time & Place)
Favorite Civilizations: Name your flavors erm,... Civs!
Communication: How to get a hold of you. Which works best?

* Hopefully there others like myself out there looking for games that can add replies to this to make it worthwhile for PBEM organizers.

Looking For: I'd like to join any-sized (slight preference on 4-10 people but no biggie!), more or less default settings CivIV (Warlords or Vanilla) PBEM game; no preference on map; culture-specific starting locations on or off as I'm not picky. A fun, reasonable and committed group of guys & gals who are available to do 4-6 turns a week---and have fun when collaborating or running amok/suicidal. Having fun & taking lumps as you go. With regards to the game speed, forwarding the save as soon as possible is NOT a priority as it is ensuring everyone is able to make the turn---ie: getting the turn done in 6 hours before folks are ready is not as important as getting everyone done in 2-3 days! But I’m sure we’ll see how it goes per group & play it by ear. Thanks for everyone’s time and happy Civving!

Looking For: I like the longer more realistic games. When playing solo im always on a large or bigger map with it set on marathon speed. Looking for a long term dedicated game. I have all expansions. The more players the happier I am.

looking to expand the teachings of the JiveTalker (tm) into the realms of [civ4] pbem's.
i have played it, and warlords before but it hasnt stuck.
i am certain that a good team is what i need.

i can do 1 turn a day, maybe more, if they get in before i go to work.
i do not quit games, and i keep my deals within.

civ 4 level: :blush: noob.
(but ill kick y'arse on civ3 :D
