Each civ in its own folder would be better for me that's for sure... by the way....just found this thread (and can't remember who aimed me here....sorry), am very interested in the entire concept.

I have RoM 2.91 and had downloaded mega pac of civs from Zappara and then discovered they are for 2.71... should I just dump those or what?

It is all fixed:) been just busy with this sport thing for a new dawn. going to continue with this later today. Made few changes though compared to the previous version. Also designing and making new flags should be simple enough. Should i also make the other remainng civilizations from civgold work for RoM are there people that will want it done? Let me know. And i think im going to upload each Individual Civ with its own .zip file. So that people can choose what to use instead of uploading a big pack. what you guys think?
Like this:goodjob:

The megapack unfortunately wont work with RoM2.9 , it possibly will give you errors. since the schema files and few tags within the leaderheads are different:)

oh and btw i want to create a singapore civ; hong kong civ; vatican city civ(already in) but i feel its not real enough those places all have 1 city or are city states. But i want to implement it in the game; i found a component that adds the citylimiting. But i think that there has to mess with SDK, is there a way of making where you wont have to play with the SDK?

huh, when you are talking about so many civs my RAM gets headaches. not all of us have the blessing on huge memory and are doomed to limit graphics to be able to play on larger maps. could you think of a special installation option where you can chose all the civs/leaders you want to install? that'd be very nice of you.

as for your single city states: isn't there a single city challenge option you could try to utilize for your idea?
btw. is this idea inspired by the minor civs that were announced in Civ5?

First the civz/leaders installation, im not going to include it as a whole 90Pack; instead i will upload each CIV individually. So you or anyone else can choose what civs they want :) So you wont need to unzip the whole 70Civz and use them. Instead you can just choose what you want to download. i hope i made sense there:?

And regards to the singly city states, im not to sure. All i want to do is make certain civilizations within my game (even when the AI is playin as my oppopnents) to be only and only 1 City, or Max 3 cities. I found a Mod Component for it but there are changes in the SDK and i dont know how to play around with the SDK.
And nope wasnt really inspired by it. Just really wanted to simulate in some ofmy single player games real world countries with accuracy like i want to have the vatican as an opponent with just one city. for Also it can benefit in the sense with the speed of the game if i can limit alot of civz with the cities to a more realistic sense. in regards to the smaller countries that are out there:)

I think put it into the d/l area separately is (in my opinion wrong), its better to have them all then just take out what you dont want, cause alot of people still have limits on uploads and downloads, and anything like this will demolish their ISP stuff, so i go with ALL at one time, thx.

not all 90 civs separately please ... make it into 3 parts or something ...

Hi Hashishim, thanks for doing this.

I have a question though. if I only want to use say 10 Civs how would I go about installing them? What is the most simple way of doing this?

I have downloaded and unpacked the files into a folder on my desktop. Could you talk me through how I can just select a few of the civs and their leaders?

Is there any reason Turkey has been left out? I would have thought they would be an obvious Civ to have. If there is a good reason then no problem, but if not and you get chance I think Turkey would be a good addition... thanks.

Oh by the way I get an XML Load Error;

well Osman Empire = Turkey, it's just an older name for the state. however there is a Kemal Atatürk leader head that could be added to them.

don't Osman units even use the Turkish flag?

Ottomans ...

p.s. and yes they use turkish flag. one with crescent moon and star.

Cool, I figured that would be it. Ottomans it is then.

I noticed a couple of other things too.

Mexico isn't showing up in the Civilopaedia. Not sure if you can select them to play in game?

Adenaur, Akbar, Kim Jong Il and Atototzli don't have a civilization associated with them.

The problem appears to be the 'Adenauer_CIV4CivilizationInfos' file. They either don't have that file or the name of the file is incorrect and seems to be missing the 's' from the end. Should be Infos not Info.

Yeah i know about errors, got 20 more civilizations to do out of the 70, before i upload a proper version of it. with added aditions and if i can a install.exe where you can have options. Just making sure it works perfectly or near perfect with RoM 2.91 and A new Dawn. Also going to make it easier for me to update it each time a New Dawn or RoM updates:) And i guess a new dawn update will come out soon after Afforess's beta testing and fixing up the errors:P

and i apologize for the late reply had a problem with my internet connection.

Amongst the download actual folders it wont be called Turkey, but on the game i am going to rename it as Turkey (well its long offical name) but you will see turkey:D

an install.exe? juhu! :) :D

apologize? no need to apologize for good work! especially not for which you are not paid or anything.

keep it up.
